TechnicalAll of the information here is based on the craft as it was for the 2000 season. It's a bit of a work in progress and is always undergoing some change or other. You will also notice that there are very few photos. I didn't get round to taking many before I changed the craft for the 2001 season, so I've done some drawings to illustrate the points. Hull and duct. The hull is a Motor Cyclone of indeterminate age, though it is probably over ten years old by now. It's around 10ft by 6ft, made from glass fibre, and has a cockpit wide enough for two people. The duct is 750mm internal diameter and as it's an integrated craft, there is a splitter plate running horizonaly across the duct about 150mm in from the bottom edge. Any air going below the plate provides lift, any air above provides thrust.
